Homemade stuffed bread was a staple in our home growing up. Whether it was for a holiday, a football game, or just a simple Sunday gathering, my mom always had her stuffed breads baking in the oven. She would start the homemade dough early in the day and let them rise on the counter. I remember the smells from the kitchen and how much I loved watching her and learning to make these breads. As I got older I learned to make them myself and of course found some easy “mom hacks” along the way to make these breads accessible for every day of the week. Today Sophia made these special breads with Nana. We did not have time to make the dough from scratch so we decided to do the next best thing and stop at our local pizza restaurant. We bought two fresh doughs and came home to make our bread fillings. We made a sausage and spinach bread and a pepperoni and cheese bread. Equally delicious and easy to make! Sophia made both of the breads today and was so proud to cook with her Nana! Check out the recipe below!
